This is their another branch from Cheras. Ayam kampung fried, ulam (raw vege/herbs) is the most common choice. Taste & the variety of dishes are almost similar to the main branch. Advantage this outlet is parking is ample compare to main. So for those to Shah Alam, at RnR Awan Besar is the place.

despite name, ikan bakar is best protein available here. also wide spectrum of gulai and asam pedas, to drizzle over and dip into. tempoyak being sharpest and most pungent option. nira is nice intermediate-stage of coconut fermentation. where sweetness still contributes to bouquet. old school sarsi and orange crush, in glass bottles, are other beverage options.

Loved this ayam kampung place more than other places. If the urge to have an ayam kampung for lunch besets me then i would gladly drive all the way from puchong to here to enjoy it. In my humble opinion the taste and the size of the ayam is definitely better and bigger than other places. Mind you datuk2, datin2 and Tan Sri, this is a rest area by the highway and by no mean a fancy restaurant or cafe, so do not expect an A++ services, Tables are usually fully occupied during peak hours so be proactive in finding a table to sit at. Share the tables with strangers if you must or wait with a smile better still just tapau la And on the bright side another food note from me, come and enjoy the 'ayam kampong'. As of dec 22, nasi, sayur and a piece of ayam kampong would set you back about RM 11, Side dish such as lala, sotong, daging and the rest, will increase your bill exponentially, Just save that when you go to a nasi campur place, enjoy the ayam here bro Good job owner and worker

Food is fine. Burung puyuh is crispy. Beef curry is quite tender. Lunch time expected need to queue and wait. But will not be long waiting. Staff are polite despite busy. Teh Panas and teh ais are good

One place to go if looking for nice Malay food and especially the ayam kampung. Here got a lot of ayam kampung and they were so good. Not to oily too. The fried ayam kampung are much healthier than the other chicken because ayam kampung are healthier and they do not cooked way too oily too. You can choose some chicken part youself too. They have various other choices and various dish and seafoods to eat for your mixed rice. Their service always fast and the staffs look clean and tidy so do the restaurant. Here, they also have various of ulam and they have budu, belacan and tempoyak. The tempoyak was nice. During lunch there will be too many people coming so grab your seat first. The place was clean and comfy, so you can dine without worry. Overall, this place is really nice for Malay mixed rice. This place suitable for everyone to anyone even in groups. For the price are reasonable. If you take ayam kampung its going to be a bit higher than average since ayam kampung are pricey.

One the the better ayam kampong restaurants. Spread not as wide as Shah Alam branch. Lots of table but 1pm is rush hour. Situated at R&R so parking relatively easy
